- Real Madrid's official Twitter account was hacked after a post welcoming Lionel Messi to the club appeared on their feed
- The hackers announced the signing with a video of Messi scoring for Barcelona against Real Madrid
- Something similar happened few days back as Barcelona's official Twitter had announced the signing of Di Maria from PSG but it turned out to be fake
Just days after Barcelona’s twitter account was hacked, rivals Real Madrid's official Twitter account has been hacked.
Recall that hackers had announced the signing of Angel Di Maria from Paris Saint-Germain with Barcelona’s handle.
And in the same fashion, hackers announced the signing of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi to Real Madrid.
The hackers accompanied by a video of Messi scoring for Barcelona against Real Madrid, posted on Real's Twitter: "Benvingut Messi! B!Bienvenido Messi! Welcome Messi! Bienvenue Messi! £Messi.''
The group, which has hacked a series of high-profile accounts over the past 12 months, then followed it up with a series of tweets claiming responsibility for the hacking, saying: "Internet security is s--- and we proved that.''
The tweet went viral, with over 27,000 re-tweets in the first 45 minutes of it being up.
