“For now, he’s just concentrating on playing.
“He is angry about the five-game ban, but he is working just as hard with the team.
“However, we cannot guarantee whether he will stay or leave.
“We’ll see what happens in between now and August 31,” revealed a source close to Ronaldo.
The Portuguese international is currently banned from playing for his club in competitive games after he picked up a five match suspension in the Spanish Super Cup.
The club remain adamant that Ronaldo, who is regularly regarded as one the world’s greatest ever players, will stay at the Bernabeu.
“Cristiano is one of us and will stay with us,” said Zinedine Zidane during the club’s pre-season tour.
“No one doubts that he stays.”
Los Blancos have attached the Portuguese international with a whopping price label of £174.5million.
The former Manchester United ace signed for Madrid for a then-world record fee of £80m in cash to United in 2009.
Controversy with the tax man sparked Ronaldo’s official desire to leave the Bernabeu after he was accused of failing to pay a £12.9m fee.
Ronaldo has kept his cards close to his chest regarding a move away from Spain, but it sounds although an exit could be looming for the 32-year-old.
