- Guardiola explained that the Gunners want Raheem Sterling plus cash
Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola has finally explained the rationale that made the club not to sign Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez before the close of the transfer window.
The Chilean international was heavily linked with a mega million move to the Etihad Stadium this summer, but a move for the former Barcelona man collapsed on the last day.
Guardiola has now claimed that it was Manchester City who refused to sanction a deal for Alexis Sanchez after Arsenal demanded Raheem Sterling in exchange.
