Barcelona on Tuesday night, September 19, 2017 continued their superb form of the season as they defeated visiting Eibar 6-1 in a tough La Liga encounter played at Camp Nou.

Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi was the man of the match scoring four goals against Eibar who failed to produce any superb display in the tie.

Lionel Messi scored the first goal for Barcelona in the 20th minutes when Alejandro Galuez fouled Nelson Semedo in the box, and the referee wasted no time to give a penalty.

Paulinho netted the second goal for the hosts with a superb header in the 38th minutes before Denis Suarez made 3-nil for Barcelona in the 53rd minutes.

Sergi Enrich pulled one back for the visitors in the 57th minutes, but three other superb goals from Lionel Messi condemned Eibar to a 6-1 defeat.
