13 survive as building collapses on Lagos Island Following a recent building collapse in Lagos State, another tragic event has occurred on Lagos Island:   - A building collapsed on Tuesday, July 25, afternoon and rescue efforts are ongoing   - So far, 13 people reportedly survived the building collapse   On Tuesday, July 25, four-storey building collapsed on Lagos Island at about 2.43pm at No 3 Massey Street, Lagos Island.   According to news reports, over 13 people survived the building collapse.
